We are currently working with a one of the UK’s leading companies within their field who operate within the global telecoms industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their product development team at their global headquarters in Bristol in January 2020.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for new business development and sales within a defined segment (target company, size and geographical territory) and will be required to generate opportunities and sell products and services to achieve revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets.

Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing new opportunities whilst maintaining existing account relationship
  • To achieve set monthly targets as determined by the company in a profitable, easy to do business way.
  • Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity.
  • Fully understand the business, buying and decision-making process of the prospects as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts to ensure ongoing sales.
  • Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecast and ensure information on CRM system is kept up to date.
  • Understand and sell the whole product portfolio
  • Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the medium market, including industry, competitors and telecoms and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately
  • Interface with other internal departments as required ensuring that customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
