Lucid Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of the largest information security training organisation in the world. The company offer intensive, technical training designed to impart the skills and techniques necessary for defending systems and networks against the most dangerous threats - the ones being actively exploited. Their training is led by world-renowned, expert instructors and the curriculum covers all the most crucial areas of security. Training can be delivered in a classroom, training event, privately in the workplace or online.

They are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join their growing team.

Purpose of the role:
  • To be responsible for sales and business development of the company's product portfolio
  • To understand the elements of the portfolio you are accountable for, along with the associated systems and processes
  • To be responsible for developing existing client relationships in addition to identifying and pursuing new client opportunities from prospect to partner and to fully represent and build the brand in accordance with the company brand values and mission statement
Main duties and responsibilities:
  • To build and maintain the brand and mission
  • To manage and develop existing client relationships
  • To pro-actively network across Government, Military and Commercial sectors
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts
  • Translate Cyber Security industry developments into customer driven solutions
  • Manage, deliver & exceed targets, KPI's and other set objectives
  • To understand the portfolio to generate quality opportunities
  • Ability to differentiate our offerings against those of our competition to the company's advantage
  • To adhere to internal process and procedures whilst fully utilising all available resources
  • To follow and understand the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry
  • Effectively support campaigns and events to help deliver revenue growth targets
  • To develop and maintain an accurate sales forecast and robust pipeline
  • To successfully develop and drive sales plans, using agreed methodologies
  • Adhere to agreed sales processes and procedures
  • To define and develop peer and executive relationships with the wider teams
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as requested by the management team
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient in delivering business results and projects
  • Ability to network and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
  • Educated to a good standard
  • Ability and desire to travel
  • Proven track record of delivering against targets within a telephone-based sales role
  • Aligning and prioritising multiple demands
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to plan, forecast and report against sales plan and targets
  • Computer literate competent in using all Microsoft Packages to a high standard
Desirable:
  • An understanding of the Cyber Security industry
  • Experience of Salesforce / Tableau software
