Lucid Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of the largest information security training organisation in the world. The company offer intensive, technical training designed to impart the skills and techniques necessary for defending systems and networks against the most dangerous threats - the ones being actively exploited. Their training is led by world-renowned, expert instructors and the curriculum covers all the most crucial areas of security. Training can be delivered in a classroom, training
event, privately in the workplace or online. They are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant preferably with experience within the events industry to join their team in Swansea.
 
Purpose of the role:
 
  • To work closely with the rest of the Marketing team to develop marketing strategies and campaigns to increase company revenue and grow product awareness
  • Support the Event Marketing Manager in tasks working on Summits, Trade Events and other event related marketing activities
 
Main duties and responsibilities:
 
  • Contribute to the trade event strategy, researching new events and using feedback and ROI reporting to plan the annual calendar of events
  • Develop and implement new ideas to enhance stands at trade events to maximise engagement
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to learn from other training providers and certification bodies and apply learnings to marketing strategy
  • Ensure presence and sponsorship is communicated to attendees before, during and after an event
  • Oversee and develop marketing campaigns in order to promote Summits and Events
  • Updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Managing campaigns on social media in collaboration with the Social Media Executive

  • Good knowledge in marketing and events, coupled with a creative mindset and being hands-on
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently
  • Detail oriented and be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • International travel to events
  • Able to work in high pressure situations and deadline driven
