Position:              Purchasing Administrator
Salary:                  £20,000
Location:             Cwmbran

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic manufacturing organisation based in Cwmbran with over 35 years of design, innovation and experience in their industry. They boast a product range of over 10000 items including a wide bespoke offering. They are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join their purchasing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with the National Accounts team on all aspects of product development and procurement
  • To place and confirm purchase orders on behalf of national accounts
  • Liaising with suppliers to develop and procure products at the best price and quality
  • Placing and managing product samples on behalf of National Account customers
  • Manage the order process from placement to shipment ensuring relevant paperwork is correct and in place
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers and logistics on all shipment queries
  • Pass copy invoices to the accounts team and monitor payments of originals
  • Actively manage shipments to meet most cost-effective scheduling and routing
  • Resource products as and when required
  • Deal with incoming goods discrepancies to recover costs from suppliers
  • Liaise with other departments on order issues and requirements
