Position: Purchasing Administrator
Salary: £20,000
Location: Cwmbran
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic manufacturing organisation based in Cwmbran with over 35 years of design, innovation and experience in their industry. They boast a product range of over 10000 items including a wide bespoke offering. They are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join their purchasing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work with the National Accounts team on all aspects of product development and procurement
- To place and confirm purchase orders on behalf of national accounts
- Liaising with suppliers to develop and procure products at the best price and quality
- Placing and managing product samples on behalf of National Account customers
- Manage the order process from placement to shipment ensuring relevant paperwork is correct and in place
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers and logistics on all shipment queries
- Pass copy invoices to the accounts team and monitor payments of originals
- Actively manage shipments to meet most cost-effective scheduling and routing
- Resource products as and when required
- Deal with incoming goods discrepancies to recover costs from suppliers
- Liaise with other departments on order issues and requirements
