We are currently recruiting for a leading provider of content security solutions for the film and entertainment industry in both the UK and USA. They are currently looking to recruit a passionate front-end web developer with proven experience to join their rapidly expanding team, working on exciting world-leading products for their global clients.
In this role you will be a key developer on all front-end development, responsible for making appropriate design and technology decisions, and mentoring junior team members. You will work in a collaborative agile environment, designing, writing, reviewing, and testing code for front-end web-applications and websites as part of our flagship product used across the world by major clients.
You will be joining a highly skilled team of developers that possess a real thirst for learning and love to share knowledge and ideas, pair program, explore and experiment with new technologies and their team-empowered environment means they aren’t afraid to make a mistake or two.
Solid and proven experience in all the following:
Javascript - ES6+
Typescript
React
Redux
Progressive web-application development
Interacting with REST API’s
Exposure and a good understanding of:
Source code management tools like GIT
CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab etc)
TDD (Test-Driven-Development)
Clean Code & Craftsmanship Principles
Styled Components
Bonus points for Cypress experience!
The ideal candidate will also have:
5 years' experience working within development teams
A keen eye for detail
A strong desire to produce aesthetically pleasing and usability-focussed web-applications and websites.
Enjoy working with others in an agile environment and be comfortable pair programming
Experience mentoring junior team members
