Lucid Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a company based in Cambridge who is seeking a Senior Sales Consultant.
Roles and responsibilities
- Work closely with your colleagues to ensure the smooth day to day running of the showroom, greeting of clients, presentation and sale of products and associated ancillaries.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all products and ancillaries and associated technical information.
- Attend initial formal training and assessment and all subsequent refresher courses.
- Retain a good understanding of daily and monthly showroom performance in relation to previous year/month and performance against other showrooms within the company.
- Ensure all clients, whether visiting the showroom or making contact by telephone, web or email are dealt with in a courteous and professional manner and receive excellent service at all times.
- Ensure the accurate processing of orders using the companies’ database and that all associated processes and work instructions are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure that all leads and quotations that you are responsible for are followed up by you or a colleague within 72 hours of being logged or sent to the client.
- Ensure all daily paperwork is fully notarised and up to date for order processing, onward handover or recovery in the event of a query.
- Work with showroom colleagues to ensure that all showroom areas and facilities are kept in a presentable condition at all times.
- You are responsible to and will report to the Showroom Manager and other Senior Managers or Directors as required from time to time.
Requirements
- Ideally worked within a showroom before
- Confident liaising with customers and clients
- Ideally have retail management experience
