We are working on behalf of a well-established cyber security software company that is expanding its portfolio to include a revolutionary SaaS solution. They are on a mission to make digital security accessible to all and make it possible for everyone to protect their digital assets, effortlessly.
 
As part of their expansive growth plans, they are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with rounded experience as a DevOps Engineer or Systems Engineer with experience working on AWS.
This role will sit within the Senior Management team and as the company grows, there will be an excellent opportunity to potentially grow into a C-Suite position.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for operational stability and performance of multiple critical business services used by our customers and employees
  • Responsible for the AWS landscape and its maintenance and development
  • Work with development teams to deploy application updates to public cloud
  • Support on-prem Dev/Test environments or virtualisation platform
  • Manage monitoring of production and business systems
  • Use DevOps skills and methodologies – Manage continuous build, integration, test, and deployment systems such as Jenkins/Gitlab/Cypress etc.
  • Control application code deployment servers and code deployment methods
  • Automate processes and systems configuration/deployment
Experience:
  • AWS (EC2, RDS, Route53, S3) etc.
  • Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
  • Provisioning public cloud resources using frameworks such as Terraform
  • NGINX, Apache, HAProxy, Wildfly, Docker, and MySQL
  • Observability tooling such as TICK stack and CloudWatch
  • IP networking, including familiarity with the functionality, operating, and failure modes of networks
  • Security design principles
  • Server design principles
  • Server configuration with Ansible
  • Virtualisation platforms
