Lucid Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of the largest information security training organisation in the world. The company offer intensive, technical training designed to impart the skills and techniques necessary for defending systems and networks against the most dangerous threats - the ones being actively exploited. Their training is led by world-renowned, expert instructors and the curriculum covers all the most crucial areas of security. Training can be delivered in a classroom, training event, privately in the workplace or online.
 
They are currently seeking an experienced Business Development / Sales Manager who has experience selling corporate sponsorship packages within the events / summits / exhibition space.
 
Purpose of the role:
  • You will be responsible for developing existing client relationships, qualifying and pursuing new client opportunities and building the brand in accordance with their values and mission statement
  • Working as part of a close-knit team, you will help raise the company profile by underpinning market facing activity whilst supporting internal business development activities
  • The primary role of Summits Sponsorship Sales Manager is to commercially drive our Summits growth in registrations and exhibitor revenues
Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for achieving new and repeat business
  • To build and maintain the company brand and mission
  • Selling and promoting to C-level Executives and key decision makers across cyber security vendor companies
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts
  • Delivering excellent customer service whilst managing logistics with vendors from sale to event
  • To manage and develop existing client relationships
  • Manage, deliver & exceed agreed targets, KPI's and other set objectives
  • To follow and understand the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry
  • Adhere to agreed sales processes and procedures
  • To be responsible for improving the company’s market position and working towards achieving
  • financial growth
  • Recognise social media opportunities that will result in maintaining or creating new opportunities and relations
  • Liaise with other departments such as marketing, sales and technical staff to fully represent and build the company brand in accordance with the company brand values and mission statement
Essential Requirements:
  • Sales focused with a creative flair
  • Work well under pressure
  • Organised, disciplined and takes pride in their work
  • Experience of working to deliver against KPIs and targets
  • Competent in using Microsoft Packages & Salesforce
  • Able to use social media platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient in delivering business results and projects
  • Ability to network and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
  • Educated to a good standard
  • Ability and desire to travel to Europe and London
  • Aligning and prioritising multiple demands
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to plan, forecast and report against sales plan and targets
Desirable:
  • An understanding of the Cyber Security industry
  • Previous experience in a similar position and proven track record in selling outstanding Summits
