Lucid Recruitment are recruiting for a Repair and Service Technician within the Wokingham area. This role involves working on a permanent contract specialising in safety and survival equipment repairs. Working within one of the UK’s leading maintenance and repair organisations, you will be required to work within and lead a team, ensuring that all customer targets are met. This diverse and interesting role will particularly suit someone who is looking to get their hands dirty- literally!
Additionally, carrying out any day-to-day work required in accordance with the role and experience within the department, guaranteeing the aims and objectives of the company are met.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the correct revision Component Maintenance Manual.
· Making sure that any ambiguities in maintenance data are reported to the Workshop Supervisor.
· Ensuring all items received are quoted within 2 days of receipt.
· Improve and maintain efficiency within the department.
· Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
· Making sure work is prioritized effectively.
· Ensuring good housekeeping within the area.
· To be responsible for any Health and Safety matters within both the department and organisation and report any issues to the Heath & Safety Manger.
· Implement and be aware of all Heath and Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments to assure compliance with Health& Safety legislation.
· Ensuring that all staff received Heath and Safety induction within the department and use the appropriate PPE provided.
· Following the appropriate health and safety standards always.
· Completing any other tasks as delegated by the workshop supervisor or general manager to meet the needs of the business.
· Being responsible for multiple departments or be competent in various departments.
· Writing reports and manage projects from concept to completion for senior managers.

Contract Length: Permanent (Monday-Friday: 8:30am-16:45).
Pay: £18,500-£21,000 (dependent on experience)
