We are currently recruiting for an innovative company that specialise in the research, development and incubation of new technologies. As a result of its innovative research, the company has now developed products that are being commercialised and sold globally.
As they transition their activities from exclusively R&D towards outsourcing, manufacturing and supplying finished products, largely within the architectural and decorative lighting and display screens sector, they are now seeking a passionate Web and Mobile Application Developer with proven industry experience to join their expanding team, working alongside other developers, Mechanical and Electronic Engineers and Materials Scientists.
They require someone with an exceptional eye for detail who can take a design and turn it into an interactive, intuitive, usability-driven and responsive web-application for desktop browsers and mobile platforms (like Android and iOS). You will have the autonomy and freedom to choose a tech-stack whether that be React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin so long as the application looks great, performs the task and works across multiple browsers and devices.
Requirements
- Solid and proven experience in web-application development
- Solid and proven experience in mobile development for both Android and iOS
- Sound experience of React – Java, C/C++ would be beneficial but not critical
- Solid and proven experience with responsive design and implementation
- Solid and proven experience with cross-browser compatibility
- Experience using REST API’s to retrieve data and update page views accordingly
- Solid understanding of test-driven development
- Passionate about clean code and/or craftsmanship principles
- Solid understanding and experience with using source code management tools like GIT
- Comfortable working on cross-platform environments (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Comfortable using build & continuous integration tools
